Default Steering Sounds Help

I have an 03', A6, 4.2 sport. I am hearing some clicking/popping sounds when turning left or right, particularly at slower speeds and in pulling into or leaving a parking space. Sound seems to be on the steering column under the dash. No whine or difficulty when turning.
Any thoughts?

if this is the same sound im thinking of then its the inne tie rods going, i had a similar sound on my a4 that sounded like the front was about to fall off and finally i discovered that the inner tie rods were shot hopefully after replacing them today itll quiet everything down.

oh yeah check the cv joints, but if its the same sound im thinking of which is more of a groaning popping noise, then its definetly the inner joints (just spent 500 to fix that ****), which BTW if you decide to do the inner joints i have a OEM set from audi if you want them for cheap.
