So I have a 2003 1.8 A4 Quattro with 51,XXXK on it. So Ive noticed that i have a little rattling coming from my steering wheel column? Im in socal (LA) so i notice this rattling particularly in the mornings, when its cool... Once the day starts warming up, The rattling stops or becomes almost non existent? Any ideas? Anybody heard of anything like this? I notice when I adjust my tilt and have the lever down and move the steering wheel around, the rattling goes away until i lock the tilt in place. Then it continues to rattle..Almost wondering if something might have fallen in there? Do you think it might be safe to get a bottle of compressed air and try spray it in and all around the steering column? Wouldnt want to mess up anything important in that area either though... Any information will be appreciated...
