sunroof opens by itself

My sunroof opens when I turn my 02 A6 on. It opens halfway stops then opens completely. Any suggestions?

Sounds like there is power being sent to either the sunroof switch or sunroof motor during startup. Try testing them both and see if anything needs replacing.
