I noticed about a month ago my car wouldnt go into reverse and just couldnt seem to find the right forward gear to start off.It usually goes into limp mode which gives me reverse. I have notices in tiptronic it bounces between 1rst and 2nd at a stop and lately when I am not in limp mode the car will not want to go up to fourth and if you put it there in tiptronic itll bounce back to third and second at highway speeds. This is my first automatic. It is a 99 B5 quattro 1.8t with a Speed Tuning chip (I was there when he did it and it does work smoothed out air box with cut opening at the bottom, test pipe, 3" exhaust, FMIC, and polyurethane turbo inlet pipe. It is a work in progress but this transmission is driving me wild. With regular scan I get incorrect gear ratios in 2nd,3rd, and 5th depending on the day. On VAG I get
