Hi all, my name is Kyle, I'm new to Audi's and the forum, I have a lot of experience with nitrous, N/A, and supercharged cars, but no turbo cars. Aside from how expensive the parts are, I love this car. I've already done: coolant temp sensor, all new coil packs, can position sensor, re did quite a few vacuum lines, my n75 valve went bad so I put a boost controller on my car, I know it has a tune on it because I can run 16psi of boost without the diode mod.. Here's the problem I'm having, when I accelerate at half throttle the boost goes to 16 then bleeds off to 8-10 psi. When I get on it hard, boost holds at 16 untill 45-4800 rpm then starts bleeding down, when I let off the gas, the car sputters or misses at a certain rpm, its like a hiccup for a split second, . I have searched high and low for boost leaks and vacuum leaks, this problem is driving me crazy, please help lol!

 

Well now I have a rod knocking, so boost issues are the last of my worries. I'm thinking forged rods and pistons vs. Spending 1250 on a motor from the junk yard..
