Default Water on Floor

Hello,

I have a 1998 Audi A8 Quatro and there is water in the heating/cooling ducts. You can hear it sloshing around in corners sometimes. I always noticed the windshield fogging up a little when the car is turned off and the air circulator is running. Now there seems to be enough water to come out from under the dash onto the floor. Anyone have any ideas? Is there a drain somewhere in the heating and cooling ducts that could be clogged up? I know most cars drip water when the AC is used perhaps a drain line is clogged (God knows where that is). Anyway, any help would be appreciated. (It's not antifreeze)

Thanks

i dont know how much help this will be since our cars are pretty different, but i had a similar problem in my 2007 a4. the A/C drain became disconnected, and was dripping the condensation under the interior carpeting, resulting in puddles of water. from what i remember, i saw that the A/C drain is about 6 inches long in the passenger compartment. the hose originated from a little distance under the dash. on my car the hose was in the passenger side footwell, by where your left foot would be. it was black, and they just reinserted it and put a bunch of glue or caulk or something around it.
