Default What's going on with these tie rods? Help Please!!

OK i drive a 97 a4q and i feltmy suspension being a lil rough, so itook a look at it and found out that the tie rod ends were really damaged, so i decided to replace them...i just finished putting the new ones on and the ride feels a little bit better, but im having trouble when turning...the steering gets stuck(the steering wheel does not come back to its normal position) when i do a slow turn, i noticed that the bearing in the new tie rods was hard to move but i have never done this job before so i figured it was normal...is it normal? will the bearing loosen up once it has been used for a while, or are these tie rod ends defective?

Thanks for the help in advance!

You probably need a wheel alignment.

yeah i know i need an alignment for sure...but are new tie rods that stiff? i mean the ones i took off were ridiculously loose, and the new ones i just installed made me turn red just to budge the bearing a little.

There suppose to be tight!

You don't have any front toe in, that's why the wheel isn't going back to center.
