Default stage 3 exhaust question

hey guys. i wanna go stage 3 eventually, but i found a good deal on this exhuast:

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=all&id=7606

my question is, is it going to be too small for stage 3?

if i had to guess the diameter should be 3" from the turbo and dual out to 2.5.

or would it be ok to do 3" from the turbo, then swap out this exhausts downpipe to a 3" then adapt it down to the 2.25 dual out.

i found it for 350.00 plus my old one. sounds good to me!

does anyone have anything good/bad to say about this magnaflow set up?

thanks in advance.

All the magnaflow mufflers I've heard sounded really good on our engines. And the sizes you quote are more than enough for stage 3 airflow - that system should serve you fine as-is. I've seen tests where 3" was enough to flow 900hp worth of air, so I don't think you'd even need to alter that system at all - just bolt it up and go.

thank you, thats what i wanted to hear!

so i should be fine with a 2.5 test pipe and this system down.

id like to achive at least 300 hp. im new to turbo motors and am under the impression bigger is better, thats why i ask.

thanks again.
