Default 3 Gauges and Single DIN

Has anyone here ever tried or seen something like this? I can either make it on a 3D printer or vacuum former, but I figured I'd run it by you guys to see what you thought about it. If anyone has any comments or suggestions let me know.

It's a good idea, and that layout works well. I had a similar setup for gauges in my 300Z - the gauge panel was from 300Degree.com, and was a triple panel with angled bezels for the gauges. The sightline was great, and it looked trick but proper inside the car. Definitely go for it - I havea feeling you could probably find a lot of buyers for it (would look better than the boost gauge in the vent setup for sure).

Better then the Gauge in the vent? I think it looks slick in the right vent bezel with the right gauge size

I think it would look at least as nice though. Wish I had more room for something like that, I could think of at least 3 more gauges I'd like to have.

Are you making it with the Audi sized DIN or a standard aftermarket sized DIN slot? I think you could find a VERY large market for both...

I have the AWE vent boost gauge and I think it looks great. Although, I had set up an array just like you've had drawn from my TDI. Check out 42draftdesigns.com for the exact piece you've described.

Cheers!

Thats an excellent design, and would be awesome if it went in production in the market.

Looks create too, you dont have to sacrifice space for your head unit for your gauges like some gauge bezels.

i think the awe vent gauge is best.gives the car a nice and clean look.the other one would be cool but i would think it would be too much of a hassel.the vent gauges take like 10 minutes to hook up.simple as ****.
