Default A6 with 360,000 kms

Hi Alex here from New Zealand, just bought a 1995 A6 quattro 2.8l with 360,000 kms on the clock, in very good condition and does not blow any smoke. Very impressed with condition for age and mileage.

Update: Had the car for a week and am loving it. I've never owned a nicer car though I've been a car fanatic most of my life. I feel like a kid again--probably since it's like a "mid-life-crisis" car. I especially love the safe feeling in bad weather conditions.

BTW--I mentioned this elsewhere--but the day after I picked it up it, a driver in a Toyota Forerunner back up into it while I was waiting in line to get the emissions tested. He was contrite and had full insurance. I'm bringing it in for full insurance repair on front end (just cosmetic--but new grill, headlamp housing, and hood are needed) tomorrow. Will let you know how it looks after repair. Just so you know--the horns don't work if the key's not in the ignition!

Hey everyone, I'm from northern Wisconsin, and will hopefully be buying my first Audi, a '97 A4 2.8L quattro, sometime this week.

Hello, I've found forums like this invaluable in the past. In my real life, I'm an aerospace engineer and I work out of my home office. I also advise, repair and restore MG automobiles, mostly from 1939 to 1980. Since I don't have a manual for my newly purchased Audi, you'll have to bear with my questions... if I can't find it in the Archives first!

warmly,
Dave

Hi,
Just got an 07 Audi A4 Quattro 2.0T. So far it is great. My family enjoys MG convertibles. We have an awesome 1974 MGB in good condition! I also do not have a manual for my A4
