Hello all, I've been checking this place out since I have been looking at this car. I purchased it finally yesterday morning and I just love the way it feels. It is a 1999.5 A4 2.8 Quattro with the cold/sport package and some newer wheels (I guess you can tell from the picture..) Anyways, I love this thing! It handles very nicely (I dont like how it steers almost with nothing going 60+) however the handling is amazing. The ride is nice, feels a bit sporty but has one of the nicest interiors I have been in (as far as looks and feel). I am replacing two cars which had a misfortunate end (a 2nd Gen Integra (t-boned, my fault though)and a 92 Pathfinder (idiot pulled in front of me, his fault.) so this one is being babied like hell. The owner was a friend of my mom who sold it since he was given a company car (works for a diamler co).

Anyways, I've heard a lot of things about the reliability and maintenance costs. My take has always been, if you dont take care of your car then it is going to **** out on you- euro's especially. The car has only 65k miles on it so im not all that worried, it had tune-ups at 30k and 60k, used premium gas and synthetic oil every 3000 (has records) and its hella clean so Im assiming it was taken care of. So do I really have a lot to worry about?? I'm 19 and a poor college student so I am hoping that it will also be ok as long as I keep up with the maintenance.
