Hello each? Im very close on buying my first s4 after test driving a few of them, im well impressed. Currently i have a a4 2.6se 1996, its never in the time ive owned it let me down once. I love it but its now done 150k and im due a new one. The car im after is a 1999-2001 s4 avant possibly in that nogaro blue, i love it. However before i take the plunge and go and buy one, i wanted to find out as much as i can about there faults and problems, because i know all the good positive stuff. I mean what am i looking out for? anything specific? tyres, turbos, sensors, management. Please help........Ben

S4's face many of the same problems as do A4's. Many people have had problems with blown turbos, and the fact there is two increases the risk.

Nope a 1997 2.8 A4, planning on buying one eventually though.
