Default Just bought '06 A4 Avant- breaking my SAAB tradition

Hi all. NewB Audi owner here. Been a huge Saab guy for most of my life, and have an '02 Saab Viggen convertible (think of it as Saabs M3 or S-line) and had '92 Saab 900 beater car. The beaters tranny was going out, and I had intended to trade it up into a 06 Saab 9-5. After a big mess at a dealer that I had driven 5 hours to (another story for another post, but suffice it to say that Valenti Auto group in Watertown CT is a DAMN TERRIBLLE dealership and their salesman can't judge a cars condition for crap!) I drove home with a '06 A4 Avant. Fantastic car, and really digging it so far, though the German love of many buttons on the dash is in stark contrast to the Swedish minimalism I had become used to, and the lack of turbo lag in the Audi is kinda weird to me , though a very welcome change ... I am used to "Wait for it...wait for it...BAM..slam you back in the seat" of my Viggen...

I am a frequent poster on SABBNet and SAABLink, though will probably only lurk here for a bit until I learn the lay of the land.

I look forward to visiting the Audi camp at Carlisle this year!

welcome to the dark side

the words "Saab" and "tradition" should never be used consecutively
