hello everyone. my name is Dale and i currently live near San Antonio, Texas. i do not own an Audi yet, but i am shopping for one. since this is an introduction only forum, ill post my questions in the A4 subforum.

currently, i own a 1979 Chevy Malibu with a 305. prior to that, i owned a 1991 Ford Taurus SHO (which maintainence and repair costs being similar to Audis). in about a month or so, ill be shopping for a 99-01 A4 2.8 5 speed.

i have worked on cars more than 2/3rds of my life so im no stranger to turning wrenches, which will prolly save me a lot of money on repairs when needed. i test drove a new A4 in 1996 and almost convinced my mother to buy it (i was test driving for her). she would have bought it but didnt like the final cost of over $35k. ive always had a soft spot for Audi vehicles but the A4 took my heart.

anywho...here i am, dont expect me to post much in the near future but please help me out if you can !
