I've been finding some good info on this site as I learn about my new S4, so I just wanted to say hello. I'm very excited about the car. It's got everything I love (Turbo + AWD) plus some comfort features I've been missing, like A/C. It unfortuantely has 81k miles but has been well cared for so far. My other two cars are Mitsubishi Eclipse GSXs, a '95 and a '90.

My question is in regards to a sound. I've noticed a loud ticking that comes from under the car at idle. It's not lifter tick as the sound is almost impossible to hear under the hood. The sound goes away once I put the car in gear and start moving. As far as I know the clutch and flywheel are stock, could this still be clutch chatter?
