Hey guys, just wanted to post a nice hello before going into stupid newbie questions in other forums.

Just bought my first Audi about 2 weeks ago an have been lurking here since. I was a huge user of spyderchat.com when i had my MR2 awhile back, and it was massively useful to me over the years. Glad to have found this forum now that I've got an A4.

Picked up an '02 A4 1.8T with about 100k on it for the tasty price of 5 grand, and am so far in love with it. It has it's little quirks, but hey at 100k most cars do.

Hope to go from being a newbie idiot here, to being able to answer others questions and be a helpful member of the community soon.

Has the timing belt/tensioner been changed on your car? I hope so. Its one of the most important things to do on these engines!
