Potential A6 Buyer
Hi everyone
Just thinking about buying a 1998 Audi A6 C5 with 131,000 kms on the clock for $11,938 US. I thought I'd do a little research on these cars prior buying them and this is my first step. I've inspected the car inside and out and its beautiful. I'm after a car thats four door and basically just a nice cruise mobile that doesnt require major repairs and this car fits the category and budget perfectly. So far the car has really grown on me and I'm over the headache of performance cars and need a daily driver. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction for things to check prior buying it cause it was leaking water on the left hand side under the car. I told the dealer and he said its just the condensation from the Air Con cause its really hot here in Australia. Like blistering.
Anyway just wanted to say hi and yeah hopefully I'll learn alot from this site cause the last thing I want is to purchase another car against the will of my girlfriend and find out its a lemon and get the "I told you so" speech from her.

In my opinion, the A6 is the wonderful car to have. It's midsize and it's luxury.
