Has anyone heard of or put a turbo in the 2001 a4 2.8l 30v?

no because it would be ridiculously expensive and barely push any boost.

There's a ton of posts on it. Search "remote turbo" and you'll find them. One guy put up pics a few years ago of his custom twin-GT30 30v and then vanished. Otherwise it'd depend on why you're doing it. If you want a lot of power, forget it. But if you're just looking for an extra 40hp or so to pep up your car, and you're handy with fabrication, then you could do it reasonably inexpensively.

Thanks, yea im just trying to figure out how to give my car a bit more power i have a cold air and still want some more peppiness

theres always the nitrous route too... a 50 shot would probably do you well.

might be easier to try and fab a supercharger system than a turbo.
