a4 b5 turbo upgrade
alright guy im about to shovel out cash for a turbo.
its either gonna be a
gt28rs .86 a/r
or the
gt2871r .64 a/r
my questions are pros and cons of each....
ive been hearing the gt2871r .64 will spool and out flow the gt28rs .86
they have the same impeller wheel and crap so there are BASICLY the same
my questions to you guys are...
would the gt28rs w/ bigger a/r spool faster than the gt2871r w/ smaller a/r?
i know for a fact the gt2871R out flows the gt28rs even with the smaller a/r lol so it seems to be a better option....and with the smaller a/r it should spool faster right?
idk just pushing ideas for i throw cash at something...
anyway its on a mildy built motor (i guess)
je pistons & rods are only upgrade internally

can we swap heads?
like b7 head onto a b5?
pro and cons on this as well
i read something (i think) people put a 3.0L head on a 2.8L so would there be smoething similar for us?
a 2.0L head on a 1.8L
pick up a few ponys lol
any advice thanks

2. The FSI head will not fit on the B5 and would require a crazy amount of custom work.
3. The AEB head is the best flowing head and will pick up power vs the ATW/AWM/AMB heads
