Default Ko4 upgrade for a TT ... what do i need?

I drive a 2001 Audi TT and i believe it has the Ko3s (or Ko3). I really have a good deal on a Ko4 turbo from a quattro and I was wondering what else I would need to change to get this beast in my car (sorry im new to the world of turbo-charged cars)... thanks

There are 2 differnt ko4's used in the transverse cars. The first is a ko4-001 which is basically a ko3s that is used in a 01+ audi/vw 1.8t (non 225 TT). Its a direct bolt on and not worth the effort. The other is a ko4-20/22/23 from a 225 TT. For that you will need the 225 manifold, oil and coolent lines, the dp if your awd or adapter peice for a fwd car, and then injectors and sw.

If you check your head near the TB you can see your engine code. If you have a early 01 you have a ATC engine and a ko3, if its a AWP, then its a late 01 with a ko3s.

Also, this forum is kind of dead, you should just post in TT section.
