Ask a Police Officer Thread Ver. 2
So, earlier this evening, I was cited for running a stopsign. I looked at the ticket, and the intersection he wrote on the ticket doesn't exist. The two streets exist, and are relatively close to eachother, but they never intersect. So, I'm thinking I can go to court with a map and say I clearly couldn't have run that stopsign because it didn't exist. Do you think that's a reasonable tack?
i actually remembered this question but didnt get a chance to post on the old thread, this is by all means a serious question, say im with a girl (legal age of course) and we're going at it like jack rabbits when all of a sudden her dad comes a knocking at the door, and i bolt out the window naked with my clothes make it too my car just as i see her dad open the front door and i take off, all while your a houses down seeing all this unfold, what would happen to me. arrested, tell you the story, we all get a good laugh and go home, or i get dressedand have to go back with you (hopefully not get killed by her dad)

Depends on the judge but I think it's worth a shot.

Does that mean that a judge could actually fnd me guilty of running a stopsign that doesn't exist? And if I am found guilty in court, would the fine be larger than if I had just paid in the first place?

Just a heads up for local residents of Montgomery County MD and those who pass through it. A new speed camera is operational on Bel Pre Rd around the Homecrest Dr area. Speed limit is 35mph if you go 10mph over, 40 dollar ticket. Locations of these cameras are available on the net, the van locations change daily.
