buy a previously modded car?
Not really much to add. I don't want a car that's been f'd up, but I bought mine with the chip, wheels, lowering springs, rear spoiler and tint.
Let me qualify that I talked to the guy for a long time. I got a good feel for him and decided it was ok. Fact is that I got the mod's he put on basically for free. Something like $5,000.00 worth. But I also think this was a really rare case. His wife drove it at least half the miles and he really prefered his RS6, I guess I don't blame him.

I don't know. I mean you can save a lot of money buyin a car w/ mods. Obviously I'd much rather do everytning myself because its more fun seeing your car take shape. I disagree w/ the statement "a modded a car has had the **** beat out of it". Sometime yes, but a lot of ppl like the ones on these forums and others, are extremely **** about there cars and take much better care of there cars then most ppl. Therefore some engine mods wouldn't necessarily scare me off to much. It depends on the person that owned it.
