Iphone 3G 3.0 Stereo Bluetooth
Has anybody been able to successfully play songs from their ipod through Audi's bluetooth stereo with the new Iphone 3G stereo bluetooth update? I can get calls through bluetooth fine. I have been hoping this would work but I can't get it to go.

The answer I've had so far is NO. I've tried the Audi dealership but they just go on about how Bluetooth works - don't we already know that - and tried all sorts of forums and YouTube options - try playing music, go to phone, go to voicemail and in the top right of the screen there's a 'speaker' option that when pressed gives you the Bluetooth connection to the Audi MMI - but nothing works.
I've had to connect an extension to the iPod dock and buy a 1m cable so the phone will connect to that.
Please let me know if you manage to solve this one and I'll do the same when I get it sorted.

Not sorted yet but got 3G S connectivity for music
I have still not managed to sort out the bluetooth connectivity issues but read that there's some work going on here:

I have brought the iPod/iPhone converter for the iPod dock:
http://store.apple.com/uk/product/TS...mco=NDc2MDQ0OA
and an extension cable:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ht_1247wt_1117
so I can use the 3G S in the dock (and with the extension cable outside of it) giving me access to all music/podcasts on the iPhone. There's issues though. You don't get any track information, no 'location' of which 'CD' your in but it works. You can move around tracks and skip and search but not all from the multifunction wheel. Messing with it you can function but poorly.
I hope this helps and let me know if any of you manage to sort out the MMI/Bluetooth issue.
