PC Shutting down !! Help

I didnt read all the replys but it could be that you need a more powerful power supply.. If it happens during gaming it could be that you need updated (or older) video drivers-but if thats the case it will usually give you a blue screen. Its most likely your power supply though. Get a system monitoring program that can tell you the temp. of your cpu... Or go into your bios at startup and go to power options and see if it says that it will shut down if it reaches a certain temp to protect your hardware. You can sometimes raise the limit for the temp which it shuts down at.

If it's a reboot.

It can be following.

Memory (download a program called memtest & run it)
Power Supply
Video Card Overheating
CPU overheating

Take your cover off.... see if that helps.

Man it felt like an eternity not having my PC..
Turns out my instincts were right, I ended up paying 50$ for a new PSU
plugged it in & VOILA. here i am !

Best buy wanted 60$ just to look at it -psssssh no way I was gona do that.


so my gamble paid of - didnt have to replace MOBO / vid card etc. etc.
THanks for all the help guys !

this problem could be a bad rem stick. If you have multiple sticks take one out and play the game, if it is fine take out the other stick and play the game if the computer shuts down both times then i would say too much heat on the processor or the power supply, Start by eliminating by the cheapest, please tell me if this helps.
