I'm very dissapointed to say the least about the North American interior. Can anyone let me know if the Steering wheel could be replace with the German version? The one we are getting loooks like it came out of my grandfathers A6

Looks like I'll have to find some sort of Carbon fiber seat to replace the borring s4 Recaro's

I have a contact in Germany that helped me purchase Techart wheels for my RS America but he is unable to find info on the Steering wheel replacement

Would love to have that start button option also but could live with the key fob

Are you driving a new RS4 now?

I thought it was bad news too that they were changing things for the NA market. I know the seats had something to do with safety rules in the US. Not sure about the steering wheel. My guess is that you can purchase a steering wheel out of Europe, but it will be pricey.

Have one on order in Canada. Guess I'm going to have my Friend send me a steering wheel. Has anyone seen the seats that recaro germany sells They have a sweat Porsche gt Seat on the site

When is your delivery date for your RS4? What color did you go with?

 

Dealer can't even give me an answer on this Yellow is the colour that I want. I could live with Red though.

You have one on order, but didn't get to specify the color? That blows. I would want to be making the big decisions like that if I was going to pay the big bucks.

 

I come from a small town in Northern Ontario. The dealer puts the order in long before its available and get what he can. That is the price you have to pay if you want one of the first in Canada. If I wanted to wait a couple of months I'm sure I could get the colour I'd want.
