I am having an intermittent starting problem with my 1995 S6 sedan, 110K miles. There is no contact with the starter, the battery light goes on and there is an audible click. The click sounds like it is coming from the relay panel area (lower left below steering wheel). There seems to be no pattern to when the failure happens, e.g. car hot or cold, day or night. Problem will not manifest itself at my mechanics garage! The battery is good and the starter new. Any similar experiences or remedies?
