Right say i have a 2000 S4, the stock power is good and with a chip and a few little tweeks it can be better but it still isn't massive power.

I'm looking to buy an S4 soon and take the engine straight out when i get it, i'm planning to fit 2 K04's and a FMIC.

Anybody recommend an injector for that setup? stock RS4 ones? Obviously i'll be having it mapped after, probably replace things like the clutch etc to.

Anything else i'd need to consider when doing this that i may have overlooked?

 

dude you could just chip that without K04's and still have massive power .

 

but all i've heard is the K03's run out of puff at the top end?

I need to beat my friend, he has a Sierra Cosworth, not sure if you even got them in USA but it's running about 330bhp, so it's not slow, killed stock s4 as he has a big garrett on it.

What have people realistically made with just chipping and the k03's? i'd still FMIC it to.

Yeah I'm serious, but i was only really hoping to get upto RS4 performance, is the GT Garrett that much better than the K04 for running say 370 odd bhp?

 

yea, with some garretts u can make crazy power. Or get a T3/T4 and u can get that to around 350 on a 1.8T so u could make around 500. I know taht teh place i get my car aprts from (hartmann motorsports) has a audi s4 with over 500 hp on race fuel. It was on one of the covers of eurotuner mag. So u can get some serious power. I forget what imola is getting. He has dual K04s. But y not go further than that.
