Default 2000 Audi S4 ?Fan? Problem

Ive got a 2000 S4 with a bit of mod work, but i havent done anything in the past 6 months and its been running stable. The other night i was on my way home around 11:30PM and i'm pretty sure one of my fans is under the impression the engine is over heating. Howeveron the temperature gauge i never get beyond the first mark - not normal (Basically my car is over-cooling for lack of better term), and when my turbos start to spool at around 2400 rpm the car sounds like its got a jet engine under the hood (This appears to be causing the over-cooling, but i cant tell if its turbo related or fan related). I can't tell if theres a possibility one of my turbos is leaking, or if its an issue with a fan or an intercooler. Has anyone experienced something like this before or do you have any advice for what i should try to do to troubleshoot this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

~Steve

Sounds like you have a stuck thermostat.

I second that. And that is a real PITA to get to as it is behind the water pump. If you want instructions just find a DIY on the timing belt.
