96K Service Question
I don't want to go all the way to Audi to have this answered;
I've got about two hundred more miles to go until my sceduled 96K service so I was wondering how much it would be. Anybody have any idea? I'm thinking a few hundred. Thanks in advance. [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

He meant K as in 96,000 miles not 96km?
I inquired about such service on the new (to me) Audi and it includes the timing belt... it looks to be about $1,400 which is why I'm opting to buy all the parts and do it myself

$1,400 easy. the whole nose of the car comes off. serp and cam belt replacment, Water pump, thermostat. I think the cam belt is recommended to be replaced on an S4 sooner then 96,000 though. I may just do mine at 65k.
Yea im at 92K and i just sent the car into the shop and i had everything replaced that was under the 96K list and it was well over 1K for all thsoe parts. I also got a bunch of other things done so im not sure exactly what it costs.
I think they also recommend checking pretty much the whole drivetrain at 96k like TRE's,CA's, Axels,CV boots, Bearings and all that stuff.
If you DIY you can prolly skate outta this one for a couple hundred but if you go the route of getting everything done, even with DIY you might reach the $1,000 depending on what u actually need to replace.
Since late january when the car when into the shop im at about now $6,000 in repairs and upgrades however that includes quite a bit of labor. (timing belt, piggies, motor mounts, clutch/flywheel, ect....)
