Okay so I just put in my second set of K04s, and now I need some advice on what to do with my old ones. The compressor fins on the bad KO4's are the only thing that’s damaged, so I am debating whether or not to have them rebuilt and keep them as a backup set or just sell them? What do you all think? If I do sell them how much do you think I could get for them?

 

i sold my old ko3s on ebay for 100 bucks for both, im sure you could easily get way more since they're ko4s even with a faulty compressor fan. what caused yours to bust?

 

Well I made the mistake of letting a dealer install them because that was the only way I could get warranty for them. Long story short they installed the inlets wrong and the inlet o-rings got sucked through. I’m in the process of a small claims case.

This is a link to a set of CHRA's for the ko4's. Their priced pretty well. I'd say rebuild them and sell them or just sell as is. If you do sell let me know I'd be interested. I'm hoping the claim goes well for you.
