Default Anyone Chipped an S8?

I'm considering doing a GAIC chip on my 2001 S8.
Has anyone here got any experience with either an engine or tiptronic chip on an S8 of this vintage?

Craig,

My friends dad has a Chipped (trans and ECU) 02 S8 very impressive. There was a big gap between me riding in it when it was stock and chipped but
It felt faster last time I was in it and it had been chipped

i'd go to a tuner in your area to get the most bang for the buck. they have the latest software and instead of 10 or 12 hp and miner shift tightening, you can get 20 to 25 hp with the added bonus of any torgue management tuned out and traction control, fans ,etc...plus maybe 100$ retunes when ever you put exhaust or intake upgrades. when ever something doesn't feel right you can go back to a real person who wants your bisiness.

Definitely find some one that is not going to just chip the car and let it be at that. I you can find a good ship local you are in good shape. I am lucky I have the VAST guys local and they made me a custom chip for my car and when I want changes made I can drive to them for it.
