B5 S4. What else to replace when doing the clutch/flywheel
I am about to replace the clutch and flywheel in my B5 S4 and was wondering if there were other things that should be replaced at the same time so I can go ahead and order the parts.
Thanks,
I'm going with a Vast stage 3 and aluminum flywheel. Car is stock otherwise.

If you have both the engine and tranny out and you have the money go stage 3. But if not I guess you could do mounts, gaskets, timing belt and water pump, pulleys and so on. It really depends on what your plans are for the car and what your budget is.
So does the engine need to be pulled to change the clutch?
I'm not really sure what I am going to do yet as far as mods. It has 100k on it but has been well maintained.
But figured I'd get a clutch that can handle whatever I end up throwing at it just in case.

First off, Thank you for choosing our Clutch & Flywheel. I personally designed our new Clutches & the stage 3 will be more clutch then most will ever need.
You do not have to pull the motor to do the clutch & flywheel.
I would change the trans mounts while your under there, more then likely once you install this clutch you won't be going back under there for a long time.
So you might as mell change the mounts.

no you can drop just the transmission to change the clutch. Some people find it easier to pull the motor and tranny out together though.
