This is the second time I posted this. FOr some reason, when I make a new post, it doesn't get posted at all. What is going on? This is the second time this has happened.

Anyway, I accidentally took it passed 7k RPMs the other night. No rev limiter at all. Is this normal.

 

what about the b5 s4??? is there one on that and what is it??

 

how far above 7k? it should bounce at around 7200 +/-.and the computer logs it so maintenance will see this if you report engine problems down the road.

 

B5 should. In my A6 I accidently redlined and didnt know it until I looked down and it was just straight on about 7000 and not going any higher and a loss of power. So I believe that was the limiter.
