this I don't understand ( how does it leak through the cam cover seal?? ) the adjuster is internal to the cam cover please explain

 

I'm not into this engine so very interested

 

I still think this is a rocker cover gasket issue

 

checked all my files and not happy with the answers so far, its a scam in my view "pictures required" with rocker covers still on showing oil leak and data showing valve timing/pressure loss

 

Its not an internal leak like i think your thinking of

It leaks out the back of the gasket

See the adjusters sit on top of the head at the rear there is a gasket between that leaks on to the back of the head

 

now I'm getting the picture, correct me if I'm wrong "camshaft end seals" and my thoughts were on the cam chain tensioner

 

Bank 1 has the "end seal" at the front and is the rear on Bank 2 those have also been known to leak but not as much at the tenisor

 

so what is the verdict? warranteed or not?

 

There are many different aftermarket warranties so it always varies

Plead your case and find out

 

It should be under warrenty. And the Water leak is prolly still leaking, but it never really looks like it, just that pink crud that builds up around the leak.. The oil leaks are allmost allways coverd under warrenty. Good luck
