cam chain tensioner gasket
Does anyone have or know of a write up to change the cam chain tensioner gaskets on a 2.7 S4? And how exactly do they want you to use the special vw/audi tool to do this? Any help would be appreacheated
I think the special tool is for locking the cams in position and for splitting the chain so you can replace the gasket, never done one myself though but doesn't look that hard I found these pictures for you and the zoom is brilliant so you can see how the cams line up

I know what your talkin about man, its the tool to compress the cam chain tensioner. you just thread it down into the hole on the tensioner very carefully to bleed out the pressure. then once the tensioner is compressed, you can remove it to change out the gasket. hope that anwers your question.
