Anyone else having this issue? Ever since they installed these new pumps at Chevron (in CA), the things won't keep pumping for more than a few seconds. I've even pulled back the rubber housing around the pump to see if letting in/out some air would help. It still clicks off every few seconds. Very annoying! Is it just Chevron or do other stations all have the same stupid pumps? Can I drill a hole somewhere that would help?

 

i think i had that same problem in Georgia with the Chevron pumps, usually keeping the nozzle back a few inches would do it... but then again your still gunna have to hold it to keep from falling off.

try rotating the nozzle 90 degrees in either direction. my car does this occasionally, sometimes it helps.
