CPO is it worth it?
I am 20 and for my b-day my parents want to get me a new car. Yes, I have been driving a **** one for the past three years. I love the S4. I wanted to get one that is 2004 - up and I wanted it CPO. My question is, how good is the program, and when do these cars tend to start to break cause this car has to last me for about the next 4 - 5 years. I go to school in CT, thats why I love the S4 for the AWD, and many other things obviosly...any other advice is clearly welcome. Thank you!
Of course, never expected it which made it even nicer. The only part that stinks is that I love the v8 S4 and I dont want to let them down by getting one for 35 which is the limit and then it breaking. Thats why I would have liked some personal experience.
your parents seem like good people and your last answer tells the full story ( you love them to bits ), tell them what you would prefer it cant harm anything but don't be disappointed if they don't go along with you ( the best always happens later in life )
good fortunes on you is my wish

Yes, CPO are worth the extra money. Parts and labor on a 50K+ performance car are very $$$$. The B6/B7 V8 S4 cars are very solid but its like owning a boat or plane. Cost of the car is'nt the real expence. If you cant afford to fix them with out a warranty then you should stay away from them, is a good rule to follow. I dont think your find a CPO S4 for 35k. More like $40k.
