throttle body boot..... it is a rubber piece(s) that are known to tear... the bi-pipe is what kind of connects everything on top of the engine.... i would at least upgrade the tbb... if you get frisky then yes do the bi-pipe

Well sounds like they are Jus as cheap as most big trucks are from factory. I have changed many of the intercooler boots from the Turbo to intercoolee and from the intercooler to the intake manifold

Right in the middle of the circle, that is the throttle body boot. Connected to it is the two pipes that come from the side-mount intercoolers. The BiPipe replaces the TBB and those two pipes with one single piece that no longer has a rubber boot that could tear. Its worth the money for simple upgrades. And would be no more challenging than taking off the top part of the intake. Plus, with the BiPipe theres no risk of a TBB tearing and having to keep spending money to replace it.

Seems like a good deal to me. Use KBB to get a price of what the car should be worth in your area with all the stuff listed on it. And use that as a negotiating price with the dealership (I am in NO way saying that KBB price is what you'll get, but it doesn't hurt to look). Also, ask the dealership if they have a carfax and/or maintenance records for the car. And definitely take it for a test drive.

both have pro's and con's

pearl white is beautiful but nogaro is one of the best colors

the 00 has less miles but more money the 01 is the pearl

i would also list or post in your specific area and ask some of the s4 guys there for insight

bro, dont get the APR bipipe. its not worth it, you will do just as good with a silicone TBB. believe me, i have the APR bipipe, and i wish i didnt. its made of cast aluminum, harder to mess with and if you want water/meth ever, its difficult to work with. if you are going to upgrade that area, just get the VAST/ARD bipipes. http://www.ardesign.org/product.sc?c...=4&productId=3

also where it bolts into the intake manifold, the bolts tend to strip due to the aluminum housing. then, its difficult to torque it down properly and evenly, and can cause TB failure. just MHO...

He already stated he wasn't gonna do much to the car, so his wife can still drive it too. And bolts are replaceable for a buck or less at a hardware store. Cheaper than a TBB.

i would honestly go with the entire samco hose kit, upgraded diverter valves, and a full tranny flush. these autos are a nightmare when not cared for. youre not gaining any hp from theses upgrades just preventative maintenance.
