bolts strip out the intake mani, not the other way around. the bolts are steel, the intake mani is aluminum. so no, its not cheaper than a tbb...

as for the tbb i may do as much as my budget will alow depending on if i sell my bug or not? if i keep my bug i wont spend much on the audi... but if i do than its on like donkey kong! lol the wife will jus have to learn to drive it... i had a ford lightning that was supercharged and all hoped up and ran low 13s and she drove that once in a blue moon so she will be ok with this if she has to be the main thing is jus the automatic if she has that she will b fine...

 

that last one has a salvage title.... not a huge deal but if you are local to the guy take it to a euro/vag shop and have them once over the car... he already told there is issues... there maybe more
