they are called DBA (Disk Brake Alstrailia). The vain structor (SP not so good so dont proof read) is not that of your typical rotor. They have there own design that is suposed to flow more air threw the rotor keeping it cooler. They are slotted and have heat markings on the side of the rotor that change color. They come with a chart that has a heat index on. This way you can see how hot your running them. By dong this you can find the best pad and oil to use in your lines. I say buy the best **** and have no worries.

If you are looking at buying them i found mine on tirerack.com they had the best price.

I think i payed like $199 each from AWE when they sold them but they really are very nice. I believe they call their special vain structure "kangaroo paw" or somehting.

I got these in the front, slotted OEM in the rear, Mintex Red Box pads all around. Brake dust sucks but it feels so much better that the stock rotors and pads. Slotted FTW it bites so much more agressively. If you have the $$ grab some SS brake lines when you do it, theyre about $100 IIRC

What ever you do, do not get drilled rotors, they are worthless on any street application and they will most likely crack. Slotted rotors are still pretty pointless on steet aplications unless you are looking to stop your pads from "glazing" but you will have a shorter pad life.

Also remember that Slotted/Crossdrilled rotors are not going to make you stop any faster, if not slower.
