hey yall this past weekend i was running out at the track and four laps in i started having a pretty noticeable rattle i pulled off and my clutch was stuck half way down i was able to pop it back up and was working fin but still had vibration i took it to audi and one of my motor mounts broke so i got one and put it in myself the install was fine everything is tight but i still have vibration im thinking it is a clutch issue because if i am in neutral not touching the clutch there is no vibration while revving but if i have it in gear with the clutch to the floor it vibrates while revving it feels like the clutch is in staying engaged all the time
has anyone heard or experienced these problems the car has 74,000 miles i wouldn't be surprised if it needed a clutch

the clutch is deff not stayin engaged all the time... if i was you would be moving all the time while your in gear.... i wonder if your throw out bearing is bad and making the vibration when you have the pressure on it.... when you press in the clutch pressure is put on the throw out bearing making it spin, but when the clutch is engaged meaning pedal up there is little to no pressure on the throw out bearing so it doesn't spin.
