Help! Transmission replacement or fix?
UPDATES:
Ok, I've driven the car and waited overnight. I was able to add 1 more quart of Pentosin ATF1 after cycling through the gears but now fluid is not dripping out of the fill hole to comfirm a full level. This will already be my 9th quart that I have filled with.
I now notice only gear 1,2, and 3 drives perfectly but 4th and 5th will not engage at all. The RMP will spike all the way to 6k RPM and the car will not move with it's in 4th and 5th gear.
The instruction mention at least 7 quarts, what is the max capacity the s4 tiptronic transmission hold with TC? I have search days and nights for this information but nothing. Maybe I am using the wrong key words for my search?
Please help.

S4 2.7 tiptronic transmission problem and code
So about 2 months ago, I decided that it's time to rebuild the K03 turbos because it had original 124k miles. Yes, it was leaking like I was doing an oil change. When the charge pipe was removed, oil pour out and gave me a shower.
Finally everything was completed and put back together. It drove fine for about 100 miles within 6 weeks and then it starts to feel like the transmission was slipping when going about 30mph-40mph. Eventually it went into limp mode with all the PND432 light on and a massive loss of power. I hooked up my vag-com and pull these codes:

VCDS Version: Release 10.6.0 (x64)
Data version: 20100630

Control Module Part Number: 8D0 927 156 BS
Component and/or Version: AG5 01V 2.7l5VT USA 3132
Software Coding: 00002
Work Shop Code: WSC 00000
VCID: 7F03FAC55796
2 Faults Found:
17087 - Brake Switch (F): Electrical Malfunction
P0703 - 35-00 - -
17118 - Gear 4: Incorrect Ratio
P0734 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
I first did a transmission filter change with new fluid from Blauparts. the problem continued to persist. The steps and prociedures that was taken to fill up was from this site: http://www.audiction.com/audi-mainte...-fluid-change/
I am pretty sure it was done correctly with the Vag-com.
I've been reading a lot of forums and it seems that either the transmission is junk or the torque converter may have been shot. There were recalls on the TC but I don't think it was ever swapped. I am not the original owner. Most of the forum I have read are open ended without a solution regarding if it was ever fixed or not.
The questions are:
Have anyone swapped out their torque converter for a fix?
Have anyone experience this problem and what was done for a fix?
What is the chances that the turbo went out and then after 100 miles later the transmission is out?
Thanks in advance

I did a tc and valve body rebuild recently and it solved my trans problems. But from what u describe, it doesn't sound like just a tc issue. I think your tranny is shot if it's not shifting.... Could be the valve body... But, either way. Look foreword to shelling out some cash to fix it. Sorry man, it's a real pita. Call level10, they know their stuff. Give them the codes your throwing, and they will tell you what you need to do.
For sure it's not the TC because I just finish removing the tranny and install a new TC today and it's still doing the same thing. Your probably right, I may have to rebuild the tranny.
About level 10, I have heard some horror stories about them but also some great news. Anyone else experience with level 10? Will a regular rebuild kit from ZF dealer be just as good compare to lvl10? What makes level 10 so much greater? Can my transmission handle more abuse with a lvl10 rebuild vs a stock rebuild? I understand that some of the questions if not all has been answered before, but a current answers would be relevant compared to an old thread.

You might want to also consider IPT if you're considering trans rebuild.

I had them rebuild my valve body and they did a good job. Might be someone else to talk to about your options. The shop I used as had good results in the past as well.
