Does any one know if there are any ways to beef up my tiptronic tranny without going level 10 or 2bennett? i really don't want to blow it at the moment until i have enough for a 6spd swap.

 

just change the fluid, and upgrade the TC from either IPT or 3zero3. then you will be fine for quite a while. if you really want, upgrade the valve body from ipt

 

The tip isnt likely to blow on you especiall if your only stage 1 or 2 , there are stg 3 tips that are doing allright. Blue's right the TC is the first weak spot then the valve body. Iv heard very mixed things about lvl10 to be honest.

I've got a level10 tranny and can't say anything bad about it. I think you'll get mixed reviews on just about anything. I will say that it downshifts hard (which is to be expected). If you're expecting the shifting to feel like a stock tip don't dump the money into it.

 

definately not counting on the shifting to feel like normal tip shifting at all. by the way how much did you get your level 10 for and was it worth it? What mods do you have going? Are you stage three?
