I am going to sell my black 01.5 S4 6 speed 85xxx miles. I was wondering what you all thought it should be worth. I don’t want to sell it for less then its worth or ask too much. Included is a list of stuff I have done to the car. I am located near Allentown, PA. Thank you for your replies.

I'd say $15,750 would be a good asking price.

 

why are you selling it? you are probably one of the closest S4's that I know of or have seen (I am in bloomsburg pa) I will have to think about possibly taking that off your hands, you know what they say two S4's are better than one!!!

 

I just bought an identical car: 2001.5 S4 6-spd manual, turbos replaced 5K mi ago, dealer serviced 3K mi ago, excellant shape. I paid $12,500.00. I think I got a pretty good deal. I saw lots of these priced between 14,500-16,000. Check www.cars.com. It will give you a good idea what the market is.

 

I am going to buy another Mustang Cobra. My kids have gotten a little older and we usually put them in the Allroad. So I figured I'd buy a used Cobra to drive back and forth to work. I do still like the S4, but I like to change cars from time to time.

 

I would say 14 since it does have 85k on the clock. I just got a prestine nogaro blue with 70k for 15 and it has 14k miles of warranty left.

 

I'm located in Northern Virginia - I bought a black 2000 with 87k in mint condition three/four months ago, the wheels don't have any scratches, there is only one door ding, leather is in decent shape,dash cluster was replaced (dim center between speedo and tach)and everything works nicely... $11,500.00 I was looking for about two months, and I wasn't in a rush, average asking price for most people was 13-14, and then again I did run across a few loonies that thought they were going to get 16-17 for a wrecked car with a terrible paint job or every fender with slight wrinkles from body work.

Long story short, I think you could sell for 11-13 easy, and probably could find someone willing to pay 14.
