I think that $2k for ASP FMIC includes lots of extra, i.e. new electric fan and etc. I'm really interested it how much better it does than the SMIC currently on the market.

Thats the first time I heard 700-800hp....thats insanity. I wonder at what point we'll start to see other failures in the cars caused by these high hp numbers. Simpply at Wicked has been building what is supposed to be a extremely hp monster as well...something like 900hp if I remember correctly.

I'm be happy if mine just broke the 500hp mark. Especially at the wheels.

agreed.. i believe you are correct that the fmic will include various extras with it, it will be a complete kit including the EFK and SPAL controller which will turn the EFK on and off based on coolant temp sensor reading. so if it does hold for that price i think it will be a very good deal. I cant wait till he gets this car back..it will be unreal.

Well, I'm thinking about the hybrids due to the left side turbo leaking oil... and I hate to do all this work just to get it back to where it was before i started. Even a small difference in power from going hybrid is probably worth it being I was thinking I had to get the k04's/fueling/inlets etc. And now I'm just looking to replace the turbos. The GT kits would be great, I just can't justify the cost right now. If/when they come down in price it may be time for another teardown.

so you're purchasing two then? that seems a bit tedious. why don't you just purchase one ko4 turbo? it'd be a hell of a lot cheaper

One ko4 would be cheaper, but I hate spending a weekend ripping the motor out to replace one turbo and put it back. If I do ko4's again i'm still gonna get a pair that are fresh so I don't have to worry about the same problem in a couple months on the pass side turbo. Just call me paranoid

I think Audi firmly recommends that turbos be replaced in pairs anyway.

Yeah these have been in for who know's how long... so I'm just looking to go on the safe side and try not to worry about the turbos for awhile.
