My 2000 S4 has about 70,000 miles on it and i have had it for about a year. It seems like every other month something else goes wrong with it. This month actually on Saturday 10-29-05 my car started shaking/vibrating while waiting at a stop light on a declining hill. As i went to accelerate i noticed that in 1st and 2nd gear the car was sputtering like it was not getting enough gas or something. The CEL went on after cycling through 2nd into third. Then shortly after that the CEL started flashing then back to solid CEL. The next day i got a Diagnostic check and pulled up DTC: 16684 (P0300) Multiple cylinder misfire. The exhaust smells like it may be running lean possibly, it was a really odd smell that ive never smelled before. I am hoping that this isn't a major problem. If anyone knows what my problem is could you please enlighten me because i am clueless. Thank you very much in advance.
