Just bought 2000 S4, What type of gains can i expect from these Mods?
Hi,
I just bought a 2000 S4 2 weeks ago. I have purchased and installed an MTM Stage 1 ECU, Borla cat back exhaust, Diverter Valves . y pipe, and the car has a lightened fly wheel and performance clutch... Been reading alot about different claims of Power but am not seeing too many actual dyno results or slips from the track... Just curious what you guys think as far as the HP output/performance will be and what type of cars this should compare too... Let me know what you think and any oppinions on what i should or shouldnt do next. Want to have fun on the street but will be racing this car at Both Pocono and LimeRock this summer... Hope all is and thanks in advance for the help...

You should be upwards of 315hp - 325hp.
Next?? Intake and downpipes definitely. Then your hp will be at it's best (for the dollar) without resorting to turbo changes.
If you're going to track it, consider a brake upgrade - at least stainless lines, better fluid, and track pads if not a slightly larger rotor/caliper set.
A track tuned suspension would be the last thing I'd recommend; adjustable dampening coilovers or at least a stiffer spring/strut set.

Thanks Man,
I am located in Allendale NJ (Northern Bergen County)....
Appreciate the advice on the next steps... Agree with you re the brakes, have noticed that already and will definately upgrade pads before going to pocono this month
With this type of power, what will it compare too or "Beat" on the street... Guess i am really not sure what is in its league or not...
Thanks Again.

You'll step all over stock BMW's - not the M's, or Z8. It will be tight with many M3's, but you might win many of the runs. The M5 and Z8 will eat you for an appetizer. Porsche cars will beat you except for the Boxter series. Mercedes will lose except for the AMG monsters. Most, if not all American cars (except for a Mustang Cobra and C5 'Vette) will be easy kills for you, although I'm not sure about the new GTO's and Grand Am's. The Ford Mustang Cobra will probably win in a straight line, but, on a winding road, the S4 will destroy the Cobra. And you'll disappoint most of the ricers, provided the kids haven't done radical mods to their cars.
You should call the guys at RPM Racing inc. I have had them do some work to my car and fround them to be top notch with good prices. They sell all sorts of aftermarket parts for all sorts of Audis. I like the AWE Tuning parts my self. I also would reccomend the AWE RSK 04 turbo upgrade for serious power, 440hp! Their number is 631-423-0275 ask for Abe.
Hey Noobie! Welcome!
But you've repeated this diatribe in your first three posts (in three different threads).
Seeing that your name is AZRPM, I would guess that you are Abe at RPM Racing, Inc.
Kind of uncool that you are trying to pose as a consumer who is recommending a tuner/vendor.
Time to come clean, pal.
