wondering if anyone knows what some 1/4 mile times are for a b6 s4. with moods or not. i am goin to test drive a 05 with 10,000 miles on it on thur and was woundering what kinda numbers it puts up. thanks guys hopfully ill have mine soon..

 

personally i'd say leave the 1/4 mile to the merkin' straight liners (camaros, mustangs, old muscle cars, etc.) take that thing on the windiest road you can find and gun that thing through the corners, that's where this car will really impress you for such a heavy car. that and acceleration at speeds on the highway.

 

o yea im deff goin to be pushing it on bends and conners but i have so buddys that i would love to smoke if i had to on the track you know what i mean

i'm glad you caught that first. i haven't tried the 1/4. i suck at launch because i can't consentrate that long, and it can be harsh on the tranny if done too much. this car is quick as a stock, but can't give you actual times. don't know what your friends drive, but i was talking with a guy who has a new mustang gt and i was telling him how i can realize i'm going fast without looking at the spedo around 140mph and he said that bucket starts to buffet and shudder at 120. a tin crap box like that must be junk on a track. he wanted to race me 1/4 because he thinks he can take me, but what good is that if you scream like a girl in a corner and your car is shaking appart at a comfortable autobahn cruisin' speed?

 

if you have a chance at a well maintained b6, go for it! i hope it has all the bells and whistles, what the straight liners don't understand is that these cars aren't just about fast, you want to get there in style and comfort as well. good luck!

 

yea thanks guys it pretty much comes loaded but i never have been in a s4 before or heard one so its all new to me and the sounds is so sweet but i just really dont know what im lookin for i talked to the guy from audi and im gonna try to get in there on wed i can just wait all the way till thur. the cars $41 with 10,ooo on it so it dont seen so bad comparing whats out there
