OK, I have a low milage a6 2.7t..., but really want an s4 because of my tip and this thing is a boat. Would it be worth buying a car with around 95000 miles? I will only be driving it on vacations and what not, so I will only put on about 3000 miles a year. Please let me know if you think its wise.

ORIGINAL: 02AudiS4

Evolution Motorsports 2.7T V-Flow Intake
$299.00

Forge Motorsport Type RS Valve - Recirculating
- Color: Anodized Black
- Connector Size: 34mm Connector
$220.00

Milltek B5 S4 2.7T 3" (76mm) Catback Exhaust System
$1,149.00

Subtotal:
$1,668.00
That's a good way to spend almost $2000 and have a slow *** S4 that'll barely walk a stock one.

Here's some better ideas:

I'd get the Borla single 3" exhaust: http://vastperformance.com/shop/prod...00929a348c8ea2$820

GIAC X chip: $600 I think

K&N panel filter, darintake mod the box... $45

710N Diverter valves: http://vastperformance.com/shop/prod...products_id=49$100 for both

Piggie Pipes: http://vastperformance.com/shop/prod...products_id=65$395

That stuff will actually make the car haul ***.

Do the timing belt/water pump/tensioners: http://vastperformance.com/shop/prod...products_id=55$345

I'd recommend the RS4 motor mounts: http://vastperformance.com/shop/prod...products_id=47$265

Then get a ross-tech VAGCOM and cable, so you can recode the trans to 00032. http://www.ross-tech.com/

I'd recommend some H&R springs, and Bilstein shocks, you can get them at www.tirerack.com

Once that is too slow for you, get the K04's and inlets, RS4 intercoolers, fueling kit, and tuning. Then you will be stage 3.400+ hp. Of course with a tip, you'll need to have the torque converter rebuilt and stalled higher (3000-3500 rpm), and have the valve body in the trans upgraded. I know Level Ten does them, but I have heard some people say go elsewhere, not sure where to tell you to go for the trans stuff.

the thing is i live in ny and they have strict laws, the biggy looks like a staight pipe. does the borla come with the two parts of the muffler and then thats where the piggies connect to the katlerconvertor.

I would recommend a larger katlerconvertor for your first mod. Depending how you install them (vertically or horiz.) you can get anywhere between 70 to 110 hp AT THE WHEELS! Really easy to install too, you could get away with using duct tape since it really doesnt have that much back pressure in it due to its oversize. This will also benefit traction and shift more of the torque to the rear wheels (like the newer RS4s) so that it has better acceleration and helps under steer, along with reducingdrag from the standard katlerconvertor. Search around, I hear theres a new model coming out that will be a supplement of a big turbo and brake kit.

Good luck!
