Made the switch to a S4
Yesterday I became the owner of a 2012 Audi S4 Prestige. I traded in my 2008 Infiniti G35 and so far its quite the different animal. I've never owned a Audi before, nor a AWD car. Previously I've had a couple M3's, a 330i, and then the Infiniti, ultimately I missed that German car feel and had to find my way back to a German car.
Option wise it has the carbon fiber trim, as well as the upgraded seats.
I ended up getting the car for a great price and getting very close to high bb (trade-in) for my G35. I think I did fairly well on the deal considering most dealers I talked to in my area wouldn't even go down to their invoice on a S4.
It's only been a day, but from what little I've driven her the handling is beyond anything I have owned before. The torque behind the acceleration is mind blowing, spec wise I wasn't sure how much of a difference between my G35 and this I would notice.. Lets just say the added torque makes all the difference.
Hopefully this proves to be a reliable and fun car!
A quick question for you all, is the passenger airbag off light always on when no one is in the seat? My G35 did that and they ended up replacing the passenger side seat sensor. Not sure if its normal or not in the S4.

Good luck with your new car! We are picking up an 09 S5 next weekend.
As far as the light for the airbag there are passenger seat occupancy sensors built into the front passenger seat. The best way to find out if the light will go out is to put a passenger in it. If the light stays on check your owners manual to see if there is a passenger airbag disconnect switch.

There is no PODS off switch anymore. The light will stay on with no passenger. I think your just keen to it just cause your not used to it. I barely notice it anymore
Even though its not as aggressive looking or sounding like it used to... The S4 still is amazing and i hope it does prove reliable for you.
Besides the thermostat / water pump recall the supercharged 3.0 is turning out to be a nice engine so far
